“Hey, baby. Want some company?” I look down and Candy is staring up at me with hooded eyes, licking her plump red lips. She runs a blood-red fingernail up and down my cut. Her face is caked with makeup, hiding the bags under her eyes. She’s wearing a leather mini skirt, a tight red tank top that makes her tits bigger than they are and fuck me heels, bringing her short frame just under my chin. She wiggles her body against mine and I hold back a growl of disgust. Back before I was shot and once after, Candy was always a sure thing. I’d go to her if I needed to find a quick release. That’s what Patch Whores are good for but now I have Holly even though we haven’t fucked yet, Candy’s body against mine push’s bile up my throat.

“Not today,” I grunt keeping my face passive.

“Oh, come on.” Candy bats her fake eyelashes at me. “I know you need to find a release. Obviously, that bitch isn’t doing it for you. I can help you.” She presses her tits against my arm.

Calling Holly a bitch is the last straw. I narrow my eyes on Candy and before she can step out of my space, I grab her arms and pull her against me. She lets out a squeak at my quick movement. Her eyes are wide but then hood with desire. She’s one of the Patch Whores who like it rough. A moan escapes her lips when I press her body against the wall, crowding her space. Her body shivers with desire when my lips land right next to her ear.

“If you ever call Holly a bitch again, I will end you. If you come near me or her again, I will kill you. Why would I want a Patch Whore who’s been fucked in every hole by every brother here when I have the real thing?” I release her arms from my tight grip and shove her away from me, causing her to stumble in her fuck me heels. “Go find someone else to blow. I’m not nor ever will be interested again.”

Candy stumbles into the living room with a scowl on her face and I follow. “You’ll regret this, Stryker.”

“I already regret getting my dick wet by you. Now get the fuck away from me and stay the fuck away from Holly.” My voice roars loud and all heads turn our way. I stalk away from a glaring Candy and find the prospect who touched Holly sitting at the dining room table drinking a cup of coffee. “Keys.” I bark. He jumps and holds my keys out with shaking hands.

  “I…” the prospect stutters.

“Don’t say a fucking word. I still don’t forgive you for touching what’s mine.” I snatch my keys out of his stretched hand and stomp to the front door. Everyone gives me a wide path and I yank open the door, breathing a sigh of relief. I look to see if Holly’s around. Disappointment fills me when she’s not back yet.

Kayne, Blayde, Ace, Duke and Talon are all sitting on their bikes waiting for me. I stomp over to my bike, swing my leg over and settle on it, breathing a little more. I need the open road now more than ever to clear my head of all the information thrown at me today.

“You good brother?” Kayne asks, watching me carefully.

“Yup. I’m ready. Let’s get this shit over with.” I fire up my bike letting the rumble and vibration of the beast between my legs sooth my soul. Kayne, Blayde, Ace, Duke and Talon follow suit and we’re leaving the sanctuary of our Clubhouse. Kayne’s in front followed by Blayde and me right behind him, then Ace and Talon behind us and Duke bringing up the rear.

We stop at the end of the driveway when I see the top of Holly’s head peek over the little hill. Her body comes into full view and she stops running, staring right at me. I give her a wink and a small wave. Her whole face lights up with a huge grin. She knows I see her. I will never look past or through her again. I see you, Holly.

The ride to the dance studio was uneventful and peaceful. Just what I needed to get my head on straight and lock the voice of my mother away. She doesn’t deserve any more of my mind or time. I have to figure out a way to make her go away completely, but after all these years I still haven’t been able to do it.

We pull into the parking lot full of cars. Kayne parks his bike next to the doors and we follow suit. I cut the engine and sit back to wait for him and Blayde to finish inside. Siren has drawn in a lot of business here. Which I’m grateful for because it’s clean money, but I still can’t get close to her. If I do, all my secrets will come tumbling out and I can’t have that right now.

A movement to the side of the building catches my eye. I turn my head slightly and my vision blurs. What the fuck is he doing here? I clench my fists at my waist watching him as he’s watching me. Neither one of us will break eye contact first.

“Stryker,” Ace’s deep voice breaks through the rage consuming me.

  “What?” I bark.

“Bro, chill. You look like you’re going to murder someone.”

“I am.” I climb off my bike and rapidly approach the man lurking in the shadows. He spots me and straightens his stance. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

“Doesn’t concern you.” His gravely voice irritates the fuck out of me.

“The fuck it does. Now you can either answer my question or meet my fist. Why are you here?” My voice is low and deadly. I clench my fists ready to strike.

“I’m watching my daughter. Making sure no asshole fucks with her. You got a problem with that?” Reaper stands tall and doesn’t back down.

“I have a problem with you showing up whenever you want. I have a problem with you being here. I have a problem with you giving a fuck now when you never did before.” I stare into his cold black eyes. “Why now? After all these years, why do you care now?”

Reaper breaks eye contact with me and looks over my shoulder. “You don’t want to do this here, son.” He hisses, staring at me again.

“Don’t you dare call me son,” I growl. “I’m not your son. Never have been never will be.”

He looks behind me again, “Meet me at the place. You know where. Midnight tonight.” With that he walks away fast, climbing onto his Harley and peels out of the parking lot.

“Bro, what was that about?” Duke asks when I make my way back to my bike. My feet are heavy as I walk across the asphalt. If Reaper keeps showing up unexpected, shit’s going to hit the fan hard.

I shake my head and straddle my bike. “Nothing. Some creeper hanging around.” I lie through my teeth.

Before Duke can answer, Kayne and Blayde come strolling out of the dance studio. Kayne is shaking his head laughing while Blayde has a pissed off sneer on his face.

“You’re such a dick. You know that right?” Blayde grumbles climbing onto his bike.

“It’s not my fault you wanted to feel up the teacher and her student’s mom caught you. Bro, you’re lucky you weren’t balls deep when she walked in the storage room.” Kayne responds on a laugh.

“I wonder why she came into that room at that time?” Blayde shoots daggers at a laughing Kayne.

“I don’t know. Maybe she needed a towel or something.” Kayne shrugs his shoulders trying to stifle a laugh. “By the looks of her when she came back out, I bet she needed a change of panties too,” Kayne says, firing up his bike. Blayde growls low in his throat and fires up his own bike. We all follow. I shake my head, happy for the reprieve.

We follow Kayne riding in the same tandem we did when we got here and head to another pickup. We park our bikes out front of Savage Saints bar. It sits on the outskirts of town away from city ordinances and prying eyes. The red brick exterior is warm and inviting. The Savage Saints MC Logo etched on the double-paned window lets patrons know where they are. During the night there’s a black light that casts the white lettering in a deep purple. It’s not open for another few hours so this should be a quick stash and grab if the waitress opening the bar doesn’t want to hit on me.

I climb off my bike and cross the gravel parking lot. This is my baby to collect the money from. When Kayne first brought me on board, the bar was my idea and using it for our other non-legit businesses, was my first test of loyalty to the club. Now I’m the only one who does the pickups here.

I walk up the wooden porch and open the heavy wooden door. The darkness on the inside surrounds me as I mak
e my way toward the back. Soft music is flowing from the speakers and the urge to vomit on the clean floors snake its way up my throat. The music only means one thing. Bambi is here to open today and she will try to wrap herself around me and get me to fuck her. Last time I refused her advances, she threw shit at my head. I don’t get why I ever found these types of women attractive. Actually, I do. They’re freaks in bed and didn’t complain when I got too rough with them.

I open Kayne’s office door and close it quickly behind me before Bambi realizes I’m here and tries to corner me. I walk over to the safe behind his desk, turn the dial and pull out the money from the night before. It’s not just bar earnings, but filtered money through our fighting ring we have underground. Along with the drugs and guns we run for Cahal. I quickly finger through the deposits, stuff them in two money bags and close the safe.

I tuck the bags in my cut and quietly leave the office. I’m almost to the door when I sense someone come up behind me. I quickly spin around and grab their throat. Bambi’s eyes are wide when I shove her against the wall, my fingers tightening on her throat. The look of surprise is replaced by want and lust in her brown eyes. Her lashes flutter against her cheeks and the rapid rising and falling of her heavy chest is noticeable in the tight tank top she’s wearing.

“Never sneak up on me,” I growl in her ear.

Bambi’s panting picks up and I let my grip relax on her throat. She sucks in a lung full of air, her fingers wrapping around my hand holding her throat. “Do you want it rough today?” She asks in a sultry voice.

“No.” With that, I release my grip from her throat dropping her to the floor.

“That’s all I’m getting after that wild display of foreplay?” The lust in her voice is making my stomach curdle with distaste.

“Hear me this once, Bambi. Stay the fuck away from me for now on. I have a girl and she’s more than anything you could ever fucking give me.” I step past her and open the front door.

A loud screech behind me causes me to pause. I turn just in time to catch her hand aiming for my face to slap it. “Don’t fucking try that again or I will kill you. We clear?”

Bambi doesn’t say a word when I push her away from me and hurry to my bike. Kayne raises an eyebrow in my direction. “Don’t even fucking say a word,” I growl.

“Bro, I’m not but damn. Two in one day?” Kayne answers wiggling his eyebrows.

“Fuck even I can’t get that,” Duke grumbles under his breath.

“Duke, if you want either of them, go for it. They’re more of a pain in the ass than I want. Besides I have the one I want. I don’t fucking need the Whores making it hard for her.”

“Too late, Stryker. Holly’s going to have to defend herself against all the Patch Whore’s you’ve fucked just to get them to back off her. I’ll have Siren and Poison teach her what she needs to know.” Kayne says. He fires up his bike and we ride off to the next drop. The place is full of memories of me taking back my life and my sanity. Maybe seeing the Repair Shop today will help me move on from the asshole who tormented me my entire childhood. There’s only one way to find out.

  Chapter 7

  Holly

I smile to myself as I make my way up the dirt driveway. That run really cleared my head and put things into perspective. Everything Stryker has done for me in the past comes at me plain as day. He’s kind, caring and really sweet when he wants to be. Don’t get me wrong, he can be a complete asshole when it’s called for but it’s never been directed toward me.

I open the door to the Clubhouse and make my way into the kitchen. I need a long drink of cold water to replenish myself. I open the refrigerator door, grab a water bottle and chug half of it before I close the door. The cool water drips a little down the front of my sweat-soaked shirt, but I don’t care. I’m hot, happy and horny. The three H’s. I giggle to myself thinking about it.

“I don’t know what he see’s in you. You’re disgusting.” A female voice says behind me, startling me. I ignore the Patch Whore and finish my water. A wave of dizziness passes through my body.

“Did you hear me? You can’t handle someone like Stryker. You’ll never be good enough for him. With your thunder thighs and thick waist, you’re a disgrace to someone like Stryker.” I clench the water bottle tight crunching it under my hands, trying to rein my temper in but she won’t stop. “He’s just going to use you for a piece of ass. Then when he’s done with you, he’ll come back to me.”

Candy, the nastiest Patch Whore around, steps up in my personal space, sniffing the air like I’m the one who’s disgusting. “You can’t even sweat like a girl. You’re a filthy used up pig. Go run and cry to the other bitches. I really don’t care.”

My vision blurs and my stomach cramps. All my insecurities come crashing back down around my carefully built wall. I’m speechless and can’t move. I know what she’s saying isn’t true, but deep down inside a part of me thinks the same thing. I can’t help it. When you’ve been subjected to verbal and physical abuse your whole life, those insecurities come rearing their ugly head and this time it’s in a washed-up Patch Whore.

I turn to leave when Candy grabs my upper arm, twisting it in her sharp claws. “Where do you think you’re going? I’m not done with you yet.”

Her fingers dig into the soft part of my skin and I try to hold back the tears, but it’s no use. I look around the kitchen, my sanctuary from these bitches. No one is here to help me. No one’s seeing what she’s doing to me. I find the strength deep within and try to pull my arm free. She holds on tighter, drawing blood.

“Let go of me,” my voice is calm, but on the inside, I’m shaking like crazy. The guys are usually around to keep the Patch Whores in check. But the only one here is Rooster and he’s held up in the Comm room doing some research for Kayne.

“Or what? You’re going to blab to those two bitches who came in here and stole our men?” Candy’s voice is syrupy sweet, making me sick. Her rancid breath is blowing across my face and I want to gag from the stale scent of cigarettes and who’s ever cock she sucked today.

“No, but those bitches won’t be afraid to throw down,” Poison growls stepping into the kitchen. She walks right up to Candy and shoves her hard. Candy crashes to the floor in a heap, surprise on her makeup covered face. “Next time you want to corner an innocent, learn who’s still here.”

Poison in her leather vest, skin-tight jeans and her blonde hair up in a messy bun has murder in her hazel eyes. She stands over Candy straddling her legs. “Going somewhere?” Poison digs her booted heel into Candi’s thigh and Candi screeches out a curse. “Tell me why I shouldn’t kick you out? Ban you from ever stepping foot in here.”

“Because if you do, I’ll tell everyone the truth,” Candy wheezes out.

“The truth about what?” I ask.

Poison doesn’t even falter at Candy’s confession. “She’s lying to save her own ass. There’s no truth about anything. Kayne knows everything about me.”

“Not you, you stupid bitch.” Candy’s brown eyes shoot daggers at me.

“Me? I have nothing to hide.” I answer in surprise.

“Holly do you want to do something with this whore or let her go? The choice is yours. She’s the one who was taunting you.” Poison asks.

Do I want her gone? Yes, I do.

Can I be responsible for someone else’s life? No, I don’t think I can.

Do I want to see her hurt? Right now, yes. But later I’ll feel guilty for letting her do this to me.

“No, Poison, let her go. She’s not worth it.” I finally decide.

Poison looks at me in shock. Her hazel eyes are bugging out of her head. “All right, it’s your call.” She lifts the heel of her boot off Candy’s thigh and Candy scoots back as far and fast as she can. “Get the fuck out Candy before I change my mind and send my fist through your face. Don’t come back for a while.”

Candy stands up on shaky legs and bolts for the back door. She’s out the door, down the steps and
out of sight before I even blink.

“Holly, hun. You have to stand up for yourself or these Patch Whores will walk all over you. They don’t give a fuck about boundaries. If you’re not defending yourself, they will come in flocks.” Poison tells me, settling her hand on my shoulder. I flinch from the contact.

“I know.” I should tell her my thoughts and what I believe to be true. I sink down onto the kitchen chair and place my hands on the table, trying to steady the shaking.

“Holly, it’s me Sarah talking to you, not Poison. I’m a woman who grew up in the MC life with a narcissistic asshole for a father. Who was beat down at every turn. The difference between you and me?” Poison says motioning between the two of us. “The difference is that I had Siren to help me. You’ve had no one. Let me be that someone to help you.”

I take a deep breath when the rumble of bikes fills the quiet between us. Shit, the guys are here and I’m a hot mess. “I have to change,” I blurt, standing up and hurrying into my room. Once I’m in the safety of my room, I peel off my sweaty top and shorts. I go into the bathroom and stare at myself in the mirror. My brown curly hair is all over the place, my cheeks are tinted with red from running then the embarrassment of Candy. I smell like sweat.

My stomach cramps when I turn on the shower and step inside the steam. It passes just as fast as it came and I do a quick rinse to get the sweat off my body. While I towel dry myself off, a loud knock comes from my bedroom door.

My first thought is, if I ignore it, maybe they’ll go away. Wait, what if it’s Stryker? I wrap the towel around my body and pad quickly across the carpet. I open the door just before a fist comes down to knock again. I quickly move but trip over my own feet. I brace myself for the impact of my ass hitting the carpet, but it never comes. I open my eyes and stare into a set of ice-blue eyes staring back at me. Stryker is holding me against him. His eyes drift down where the towel covers the swell of my breasts. His pupils dilate, longing in the depths of them.
